Eunice Irene Williams' Obituary
Eunice Irene Williams, 94, of Tacoma passed away peacefully September 18, 2015. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Junius, in 1975. Eunice is survived by two sons, also of Tacoma. Eunice and her youngest son, Ron, operated Rightway Spring Company of Tacoma until they retired. Ron and Linda’s daughter Lisa Linke was a precious granddaughter who arrived to lighten a grandmother’s life. Then there was a great granddaughter, Carina Linke, who was a source of unending pride for her great-grandmother. Eunice’s eldest son Steve (Patricia) is a retired reporter for KSTW-TV. Eunice began life November 18, 1920 in Tamarack, Idaho.
The Family composed of Eunice, her late brother, Everett, and parents Vietta and Floyd Shaw relocated from Idaho to Portland, OR where Eunice graduated from Roosevelt High School. Eunice married Junius Williams in 1940 and was the loving spouse who followed success in the spring business from Portland to Seattle and on to Tacoma. Eunice and Junius were active members of Eastside Christian Church, holding countless local, state and national offices in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
In Lieu of flowers, Eunice would have requested donations to East Side Christian Church, 5816 McKinley Ave, Tacoma, WA 98404.
