Iam a very close friends Gene and the Jones. March 15,1974 Gene and myself enlisted into the Army Raleigh,NC we went together the buddy plan. Did basic Ft.Jackson,SC September,1974 we was reunited in the 82abn Divinsion. It is very sad for me my buddy my friend, my army veteran is gone to be with the LORD, but not upset because he in a much place Iam right now one day we be together please Gene not to soon, not this buddy plan later. But really Gene and I had some great times together his family call me Slim because was very tall but not much weight about 170-175 lbs. now there is no more Slim Jones family big Curt 275 lbs. retired eating good basketball just a memory now but back in the days Gene and I could play. Gene with that deadly left hand I hope one his sons has carried the torch. Gene and I lived many miles apart loss touch we he was station at FT. Lewis, WA but keep in contach with of his siblings mostly Prisscila. Well family I will close that picture in the obituary I have it taken 1974 there was picture of Gene and I at his parents house in Evans Hill. Take care my prays are with he will be miss but to see him again you know what we must do there on earth myself I will see my friend again love you all. On behalf of the Jones Family from Fayetteville, N.C. to my Brother's siblings of Seattle, Washington, it saddens me to know that another family member has departed us once again and I wish to extend my sincere condolences. To the siblings of my brother, your father's presence will be felt within each and everyone that he has touched. We both were soldiers with families and loved and cherished life and he will be forever missed. Sometimes the Lord Giveth and the Lord Taketh Away and nobody knows God's complete plan, but God. ON behalf of the Jones Family far and near, I'd like to extend my sincere condolence to the family members of my brother, Eugene. His presence will be truly missed, as much as his family members, who have sinced moved on. We were both soldiers, serving our country, who have families and loved and cherished life and he will be forever missed. He is my brother, whom I will never forget, for his presence surrounds each and everyone of us. Lest though be forgotten. There are no words that can express the pain I feel for you all. You all have been apart of my life for years. The lord said something to me as I took this journey just 8 undefined ago he calls home the choosen ones that need to be seprated from this crazy world.
