Eugene Franklin Randolph's Obituary
Eugene Franklin Randolph was born to Mattie Brown on July 9, 1956 in Columbus, MS. He departed this life on October 7, 2005. He leaves a loving family to cherish his memories: his wife, Gwene Randolph, his mother, Mattie Brown, and seven siblings: Leo, Debra, Ella, Janice, Ray, Douglas and Marty. Along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a great number of friends.The family moved to Tacoma in 1966, settling on the hilltop. Eugene attended McCarver Elementary, Mason Middle School, and graduated from Foss High School in 1976. After high school he attended Bates Technical College. His major was cement finisher and worked for several local businesses. In 1985, Eugene moved to California and started Randolph Construction Company, and later received his Real Estate license.He also enjoyed playing tennis and chess. Eugene was always well dressed. Eugene loved his family and friends very much. He took 1st place in a Canadian Karate Championship at an early age. He was baptized at Central Church of Christ in Tacoma and later became a member of Normandy Church of Christ in California, and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
