Etsuko M. Tsubokawa's Obituary
Etsuko Mahelona Tsubokawa passed away unexpectedly at home in Tacoma at 76. She was born on March 3, 1932 in Hamgyong-Nando, Korea. "Amy", as she was known to friends is preceded in death by her husband Gustin M. Tsubokawa, daughter Terumi Tsubokawa and mother Haruno Tsubokawa. Talented in Japanese crafts, she was a member of Tanpopo-No-Kai women's association and Hyakudo Kai seniors club. Her memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 23 at 10 AM in the Aspen Chapel, Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. S.W., Lakewood, WA. Her ashes will be placed in Byodo-In Temple, Kahalu'u, Hawai'i. She will be dearly missed by her family and family of friends. Aloha.
