Esther McAtee's Obituary
Esther K. McAtee (Habecker), born Sept. 3, 1916 in Phoenix, AZ, went to be with her Lord May 21, 2011. She was married to Ernest F. McAtee on Sept. 23, 1934, and moved to Tacoma in 1944. Later she went to work for Tacoma General as a Seamstress where she retired. Mom was also a dress and quilt maker. She loved to travel but her family was most important in her life. She had four children, Ernest F. McAtee, Kenneth (Barbara) McAtee, Charlotte (Frank) Mecklenburg, and Ellen (Dave) Cohrs. She had two sisters Lois and Jody and a brother Joe. She had 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest and daughter Ellen and grandson Wayne. Services will be held at Mountain View, May 25th at 2:00pm. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
