Esther M. Miller – Kasemeier – Edmunds
Esther M. Edmunds, 95, of Gig Harbor passed away peacefully with family surrounding her on June 27th, 2018.
She was born June 22nd, 1923 in Clearfield, South Dakota. Esther was a retired LPN working at various medical facilities in the Tacoma area. She is survived by one sister, Patricia Turner two sons Marvin Kasemeier (Judie) of Tillamook, Oregon, Bradley Kasemeier (Catherine) of Gig Harbor, and one daughter, Konni Kasemeier of Gig Harbor. She is also survived by eight Grandchildren, seventeen Great Grandchildren and three Great, Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Agnes and five sisters Ida, Florence, Leone, Luella and JoAnn, her first husband Marvin Kasemeier Sr., her second husband Wilbur (Bud) Edmunds and her son Steven Kasemeier Sr. Esther graduated from Clover Park High School in 1941. Esther and her husband Bud spent many happy retirement years traveling around the U.S. and Mexico in their RV. They loved to spend quality time with their family and many friends. She was loved dearly by all who knew her.
A celebration of life service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home at the Garden Chapel in Lakewood on Saturday, July 14th, 2018 at 11:30 am. There will be viewing on Friday, July 13th from 10 am – 8 pm.
