Esther and Bruce welcomed us when we moved here in 1981. She and Worth had much in common as retired school teachers.
Whenever I would visit her, she would share her several health letters. She and I had some similar health issues to deal with so these letters gave both of us good insight into our mutual problems. One told of ministrokes as a result of losing temporary eyesight which I had experienced that morning before hiking on Mt. Rainier. I quickly followed up with my doctor and had surgery on my carotid artery within 5 days. Because of herletters, I feel she saved my life.
