ESTER CHARETTE's Obituary
Ester Charette, age 80, was born in Trieste, Italy on June 29th 1933. She passed away peacefully with family by her side April 12th, 2014 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Gig Harbor, Washington.
Ester survived her late husband Normand Charette.
He was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Normand was a CW4 in the US Army and saw combat in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He retired from the Army after 33 years service. Normand passed in 1978.
They met in Trieste, Italy and lived the life of a traveling military family for 29 years before settling in Lakewood, Washington. Ester later lived in Port Orchard, Washington.
She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini parish and proud to be an American Citizen.
Ester is survived by her children, George (spouse Carla), Jeanpierre (spouse Gay), Annette (spouse Stephen), Patricia, James (spouse Connie) and grandchildren Sam,Christopher, Selina, Jason, Normand, Natalie, Jocelyn, Daniel, Amanda, Brandon, Sophia and her great grandchildren Danny, Ariel, Austin, Juni, Tabitha, Hailey, Normand and John.
Mother we love and miss you. Your faith in God, love of country, life, laughter, music and dancing will live on in everyone’s hearts.
