Whenever I would visit this amazing family, I could see the dedication, unconditional love, and extreme admiration that Ernest LeRoy Mooney had for his girls. This only extended further onto his grandkids. He always made me feel like I was one of his girls, always greeting me with a smile and a hug. He is one amazing soul that is extremely missed.
My Daddy was one of the most amazing, caring man I've ever known. He would bend over backwards to do anything for his family and friends. His grandkids were the light of his life. He loved our mother more than anyone else.
He had a lot of problems when us girls were little but he did the best he could. When he finally got the help for his PTSD he became and totally new man. It made him even more loving and caring.
If any of us needed anything he would do anything in his power to help. He was my best friend. I could tell him anything and he would never judge me. He would always give his honest opinion.
I don't know what to do without him! I'm just so happy to know that he is with God and longer miserable and feeling helpless. My dad didn't do helpless well. My mom, Jon, Nellie, Sunny, and I were all with him when he passed on. I know he's looking down on us with God and he knows we will all be ok.

Papa Mooney was an amazing Dad and funtastic Grampa. He adopted me into his heart when Kaytie brought me home. He has been such an awesome cheerleader and tremendous help. Always a generous soul. Even though we miss him terribly, he will always live on in our hearts.
