Ernest Lee Williams' Obituary
Ernest L. WilliamsBorn in Springhill, West Virginia on October 24, 1919, and went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2004. Ernest belonged to the Elks Lodge and the Eagles, where he loved to dance. He also enjoyed reminiscing about old stories especially his old war stories from when he was in the Army in WWII, and the Korean War. He later retired from the Army at Ft. Lewis and retired from Boeing as a security guard. Ernest was fun loving, a charmer, and he loved his family. He was preceded in death by his wife Leda Yapaikino of 2 years, Rose Rettura of 44 years, and his most recent wife Wanda Kleiva of 6 years. Ernest is survived by his children Dennis Williams (Jan), Mary Lou Washington (Melvin), Deborah Vendetti (Steven), Carol Schuur; 11 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family! A viewing will be held on Monday, June 28, 2004 from 1-9PM at Mt. View Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at 12:00 in the Mt. View Garden Chapel and graveside services at 1:00 at Calvary Cemetery. A reception will follow at 2:00PM at Trinity Church, 4041 Tacoma Mall Blvd., Tacoma, WA 98405.
