Ernest E. AndersonRetired Certified Public AccountantErnest E. Anderson ("Ernie"), a Montesano, WA resident for over 40 years, died on Nov 29, 2007, in Lakewood, WA where he had lived the past 5 years. He was 87.Born in Busby, Alberta, Canada on Jan 7, 1920, Ernie was raised in Bellingham, WA and graduated from Bellingham HS. He then served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II; first as a flying instructor and then as a fighter pilot in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. Married in 1940, his wife, Virginia, passed away in 1996. A member of First Presbyterian Church of Montesano, he loved flying, golfing and fishing, but, most of all, his family.Ernie is survived by his children, Larry R. Anderson of Montesano, Mark A. Anderson (Patty) of Lakewood, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mountain View Funeral Home of Lakewood; he will be interred at Bayview Cemetery in Bellingham. The family held a small remembrance at an open house on Dec 1, 2007 in Lakewood.
