Erna H. Melendy's Obituary
Age 80, longtime Tacoma resident and retired employee of the Bank of California, passed away January 30, 2005 following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Melendy was noted for her helpfulness and quiet generosity to others. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Albert and Lydia Schmidt, by her sister Herta Lennon, and by her husband Merle C. Melendy. Surviving her are a brother, Herbert Schmidt (Patty) of Spokane, a sister, Martha Johnson of San Bernadino, CA, nine nieces and nephews, and many friends.Services will be scheduled at a later date.
