Erika Faison's Obituary
On September 27th, 2015, our loved one, Erika Faison, was picked up by angels. So unexpected, but surrounded by her family whom she will live with in their hearts forever. Erika was also surrounded by family members who were not present but had her in their hearts and minds.
Erika knew no strangers and lived each day as if it were her last. She was proud to be Tacoma’s first Woman Elk.
Most would not know her by name but by her smile. Our beautiful flower has been picked.
At her request, there is no memorial but donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in her name.
Our “Lady of Lakewood” will rest at Mountain View Memorial Park where she found solace.
Erika will be missed by so many!
Erika is survived by daughter Petra and Fiance’ Dave, grandson Ryan, Ashley and great grandson Liam (Spanaway). Son Pete and wife Gail (Florida), sister Helga and family (Germany), sister Siggi and family (California) and surviving brothers Ulli and Gerhardt and their families (Germany) and many friends.
We would like to thank St. Joseph’s Medical Center for the great care that they gave our beloved Erika.
We thank you all for your support and love during this very difficult time.
Placement will take place at Mountain View Memorial Park, Lakewood WA. There will be a gathering in the Forest Room at 2:15pm on Friday, October 9, 2015.
