Erika Ursula Faberski's Obituary
Erika Ursula faberski passed away on February 21st at 12:30 am at the Franciscan hospice house.
Erika was born in leipzig, Germany on February 3rd 1938. She stayed there until she was 16 when she tried 3 times to climb over the Berlin Wall in search of a better life in west Germany and was successful on her 3rd try. She married in Germany in 1961 and gave birth to her first son Norman. After the birth of her first son they came to the United states and after living in many different parts of the US settled in Lakewood, Washington. In 1964 she gave birth to her second son Christian. Holding many different jobs over the years she eventually ended up at Titus- will. She worked there for 27 years before retiring.
Erika loved her garden, watching the hummingbirds in her backyard, cooking and visiting with her close friends.
Erika was preceded in death by Norman Faberski (son). She is survived by Christian Faberski (son), Brian Faberski (grandson), her sisters in Germany and numerous friends.
