Eric Michael Monsees' Obituary
Eric was born in Vietnam, but came stateside at 8 months old. His father was military, and he spent his early years in California, Germany, and finally settled in Washington with his parents and siblings. He attended Fern Hill Elementary, Baker Middle School, and Mount Tahoma High School. He took up a profession in roofing and did this for most of his adult life.
Eric had a kind, loving disposition and was always willing to help friends, family, and strangers alike. He took an active part in the Parent Teacher League at Concordia Lutheran School, which his son attended.
He is preceded in death by his father Robert. He is survived by his mother Sandy Monsees, step father Ronald Potts, sister Michelle Hernandez (Steven), brother Robert Monsees, and sons Jaythan and Brian Patrick Insko.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, June 27th at 10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Tacoma. A small reception will follow afterwards. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Concordia Lutheran Schools, or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
