Eric "Rick" Anderson's Obituary
"I was just a kid from Parkland, and proud of it"
Eric "Rick" was born om August 4th 1943 to Joseph and Dorothy (Face) Anderson in Tacoma, Wa.
Growing up in Parkland, Rick was one of five children. He had three brothers, David, Lance and Timothy and a sister Kathleen.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Candace, his mother Dorothy Anderson, his brother David Anderson, and grandson Brady J. Anderson.
He is survived by brothers Lance and Timothy, his sister Kathleen, his daughters Stephanie Anderson and Cassandra Delacruz, his son Gary Anderson.
His grandchildren are Erica Anderson, Nathan Jensen, Gavin and Carter Anderson and great granddaughter Ashlynn York.
Rick’s passion was coaching baseball and soccer. He spent many years devoting all his free time to his sports families and sharing his love of the game. He lead many of the teams to championship seasons.
He retired from Nalley’s and went on to work for Costco, retiring from there as well, making many friends along the way.
He was quick to help anyone in need.
He had many friends, quite a large family and enjoyed spending time with them all.
Rick, the kid from Parkland, will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him.
