I met Wayne when I was 9 or 10 years old. He had a smile and laugh that could light up a room. His sense of humor was one of a kind and I could always count on him for a good laugh when I needed it. He once pocket dialed my house phone and left a message where he was yelling “White Lightening”. Wayne loved his children, and his wife more than any man I know. He was so proud of everyone of them. He honored the memory of his wife and always talked about how she was the best woman he had ever met. I valued that about him. Wayne was also a very loyal friend, during my dads final days he was there for him. He’d check in to see how he was doing and he checked on my family. His ability to live in the moment and enjoy all the small victories is something that was truly inspiring. I will never forget Wayne. He was family to me and will be greatly missed.
