Encarnacion "Carnation" Dimatulac's Obituary
Mrs. Encarnacion “Carnation” Dimatulac of Steilacoom, WA, died on February 4, 2016 after a courageous battle against cancer.
She was born to Pio Silos and Gregoria Punsalon in Angeles City, the Philippine Islands, in 1936. After marrying Filemon Dimatulac, Carnation traveled the world as an army wife, and they continued to travel after retirement.
Her favorite spots were Hawaii, Germany, and Australia. Carnation and Fil were married for 55 years when he passed away in January 2014. Carnation is survived by her loving daughter, Leilani, and a son, Lee.
Funeral mass will be held at 11:00/AM, Friday, February 12, 2016 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Lakewood, WA. Entombment to follow Mountain View Memorial Park scheduled for 1:30/PM. Visitation will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood WA on Thursday February 11, 2016 from 4:00/PM to 8:00/PM. Family and friends kindly invited.
