Emmett Gomsrud's Obituary
EMMETT G. GOMSRUD
After a long and remarkable life, Emmett passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the age of 91 years. After graduating from Lincoln High school in 1941, He enlisted in the US Army on October 6, 1942 to December 15, 1945 and served in WWII.
Emmett was an avid outdoorsman, who shared the joys of hunting and fishing with his wife, children and grandchildren. He retired from Pacific Northwest Bell after 42 ½ years. Upon his retirement, he moved to his beach front property in Lakebay. WA
Surviving to carry on Emmett’s legacy are his wife of 70 years Bernice, Daughter Pat Hanson, Son Mike “Rudy”, Grandchildren: Susan, Sharyl, Blair, Brett, Tara, Taylor and Great-grandchildren: Alex, Alyssa, Samantha, Ashley, and Tatum.
At Emmett’s request there will be no funeral. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
