Dear Tommy and family,

We are sadden to lose our dear friend and your beloved mother. We join you in the celebration of her life. We share fond memories of the times we spent camping, fishing, playing cards all night and just enjoying each others company. She was one of my best friends. We worked together for many years in the school district and discussed and solved many issues related to work and otherwise. She was a very caring and insightful lady. We will always remember her kind and gentle disposition.

I met Mrs. Grant when Thomas and I were in high school together. What a wonderful woman she was! She was always so very kind and happy and I enjoyed being in her presence. She is resting in Our Lord's arms now and will continue to watch over Thomas from above. Thomas....your Mama is still with you, in your heart, in all of the things she taught you, in all of the love she gave you, and all of the memories she left with you.
