Emma Esther George's Obituary
EMMA ESTHER GEORGE died peacefully at the age of 98 on June 24. Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ed. Survived by her brother Guyen (Joyce) Holder, daughter Janet, son Gary (Donna), son Dale (Diane), and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Emma was born in Denver, Co, but has lived in Tacoma for 80 years. She enjoyed quilting, crossword puzzles, reading, and and dancing. She will be fondly remembered for her independence, positive attitude, and for always being there when we needed her.
A celebration of life will be held on July 6 at 11 AM in Mountain View Funeral Home's Valley Chapel. Reception following. In lieu of flowers please donate in her name to a charity of your choice.
