Emma C. Roberts' Obituary
Emma Roberts, Milton, WA, passed away 8/15/2010. The youngest of eight, she was born and grew up on a dairy farm in Aitkin, MN. She came to Washington in 1943 and met Jack Roberts at Northwest Door Company. They married in 1948 in Minnesota. Wife and mother of 2, she also provided day care in her home, taking care of countless newborns, toddlers and preschoolers. Many of those kids have returned to visit and share memories. Emma was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Aitkin and Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Milton. She was preceded in death by husband Jack (Donald), parents, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters. Survivors are son Mike Roberts (Lynda), daughter Cindy Roberts (Bud), and granddaughter Misti Bowen (Chadd).
Services Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, 10:00 a.m., Mountain View Funeral Home, Tacoma. Reception following. Memorial donations to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital.
