Emily Ann Kuklok passed away June 1, 2006. She is survived by her dear son, James Hemenway; her mother, Alice Askov, her siblings Rachel Sprague (Gary), Adam Kuklok, Lilly Kuklok, and Christopher Kuklok; and her niece and nephew B Read Obituary
So its been 15 years now since you have been gone but you are not forgotten. I had a lot of fun hanging out with you in the summer of 1996. Late night Dennys trips, long drives, and your smile will always be warm memories for me. I still think of you on occasion and its what prompted me to find this page and add my, albeit late memories.
It makes me sad to think how you hurt but happy to know how you positively touched the people around you in your time. Miss you Emily.

Your service was everything that you would have wanted.... Your family did an amazing job. I still can't believe that you are gone, but you will always and forever be a part of me. I MISS YOU. James is so wonderful and is growing up so fast. He looks just like you! I will never let him forget what a beautiful, talented, amazing mother you were. God looked around his garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain,
and he knew that you would never get well, here on earth again.
He saw your path was difficult, he closed your tired eyes, he whispered "Peace be with you", then gave you wings to fly.
When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain, we would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again.
You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide, you live on through James, you're always by his side.

Emily, I am so glad I got to spend some time with you last year. I saw what a beautiful young woman and good mother you had become. The memories of coloring Easter eggs with James and Hannah (their little hands kept dropping the eggs) and you showing us around Steilacoom and Seattle will stay with me for a long time.
To Alice, Rachel, Adam, Lilly and Chip, my heart goes out to you. To suffer two tragic deaths so close together is more than anyone should have to bear.
