Emily P Axt's Obituary
Emily passed peacefully at her family home May 9, 2013. She was born February 24, 1921 in Bangor, Saskatchewan to Robert and Emily (Clarke) Jenkins. Granma will be missed by her four children, Joanne (Bruce) MacKintosh, Janette (Brian) Smith, Rick (Loretta) Axt, and Robert Axt; grandchildren Michael Lightfoot, Erin and Cullen MacKintosh, Dani, Desi, and Darren Axt, and Josh Smith; and great-grandsons Zakk and Jake Grant, Tylor Lightfoot, and Liam Joseph Walker MacKintosh. Her husband of 59 years, John Axt, predeceased her in 2008. Her family can thank her Welsh and English heritage and the loving care of her son Robert for her long and independent life and spirit.
Graveside services will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park, Lakewood, WA, May 17, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. with viewing beforehand.
