Emerson Johnson.... I loved him very much. Me, I was 19 yrs old when I met "EJ" at the Boeing company. He past along his working skills to me like a father teaches a son to be a man. Emerson was my mentor at work as well as in life. He told me once to "Love life and be Happy!" I never forgot those most cherished words. One evening after a hot night on 2nd shift, we sat in the parking lot, on the back of his Orange truck drinking a Jamison and a Budweiser. He looked at me talking about his life and said. "I may not be as good as I once was, but I was as good once, as I ever was." I never forgot that and use it often today because it is true. 3 wars, a career at Boeing, and a bout of surgery couldn't take him out or knock him down. I loved him like a father and will never forget this Veteran of our Country. Thank You Emerson. A BIG Thank You to his dear wife, Yaeko and Family for sharing Emerson, The Veteran, The provider, The Husband, The Dad, and the Grandpa, with all of the rest of us.##imported-begin##Terry Patton##imported-end##
