Elva Marie Boisvert's Obituary
Elva "Ellie" Marie Hinton- Meyers-Chrzanoski-Boisvert
Ellie was born on April 27, 1925 in Tacoma, Washington and passed on March 11, 2010 in her home in Lacey, Washington. Ellie brought love and life to her family. She will be forever missed. Marriage to Charles Meyers in 1943 brought Rick and Ron, her loving sons into the world. Ellie enjoyed being a Mom and having a career. She worked for Washington state at the Child Study & Treatment Center at Western State Hospital for 29 years. She retired with many awards for exceptional service and dedication. Charles passed, but Ellie moved on falling in love with Al and they married in 1967. Al's son, Randy, soon became "one of the boys." Al passed in their Federal Way home in 1997. Ellie "retired" to Las Vegas with Ron and Donna in 1998 to enjoy the dry desert air and the sunshine. In 2001, they all moved back to Olympia, Washington. Ellie found love again with George Boisvert. They were married in April 2003. George and Ellie enjoyed being together, taking road trips and going on an occasional casino outing. Their days were filled with joy and laughter. George passed in July 2004 and Ellie struggled with the death of her husband and best friend. She continued to enjoy her family and "adopted" George's son, Ken, as one of her own. Ellie loved her Grandchildren, Richie, Michelle, Lisa, Kim and Teresa. She also enjoyed time with her Great and Great-Great Grandchildren. She was born to Clum and Helen Hinton of Missouri. Three of her siblings are deceased: Don, Maxine and Barbara. Her sister Betty survives her. Ellie's memorial service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood at the "Garden Chapel on Saturday, March 20th at 4:00 pm.
