Life for all on earth begins with birth. Then the timeclock of life begins to tick away the minutes, days, weeks, month, and years.
Elton Cedric Thomas, Sr., aka: “The Man With the Plan”, was born on April 7, 1953 to the late Robert Tomas and Sarah Jo Wilson. He graduated high school in 1971. He began his trade as a truck driver and businessman in 1976.
He met and married the love of his life on June 28, 1980. From this union brought two daughters, Sukara and Oliva, and a son, Elton Jr.
Elton’s profession as a long haul truck driver and owner of Kemo Transfers was his life’s work. However, his proudest accomplishment was his family. His smile and crazy laugh will be greatly missed.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 35 years, Karen; daughters, Sukara Grandberry (Roland), Olivia Thomas all of Tacoma and a son, Elton Jr (Judith) of K-Town, Germany; 9 grandchildren, William, Karen, Tyson, Roland Jr, Nicholas, Marissa, Carl, Carla, and Elyana; 2 great-grandchildren, Keniyah and Khair; a brother, Gregory Thomas of Los Angeles, CA; 2 sisters, Margaret Black (Louis) of Hisperta, CA, and Melodie Wilson of Yelm, WA; and a host of uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
