Elsie M. Schleiger
Elsie M. Schleiger passed peacefully at home on April 29, 2012 at the young age of 75. Born Nov. 21, 1936 in Marion, IL. Elsie was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and retired as an executive manager of Northwest Bell in March 1986 and Qwest in May 2007. She is survived by her daughters Kathleen Starr, Elaine Thompson and Linda Schleiger, and grandson Lazarus Schleiger. She also has two step-brothers David and Steven Elkins and their families. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents James B. Anderson and Macel E. Anderson/Elkins and step-father Hugh K. Elkins.
Graveside Service will be at Mountain View Memorial Park, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA 98499 at 1:30PM, May 12, 2012. Memorial Service to be held at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church, 7500 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103 at 1:30PM, June 2, 2012. Please make donations to Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church in remembrance of Elsie.
