Else H. BlountElse Hedwig Blount passed away Thursday, March 20, 2003, at Madigan Army Medical Center with her family at her side.Else Blount was born to Hermann and Regina Sennert on February 10, 1938, in Faulbach, Germany. She had one sister, Cecelia Sennert, and one brother, Reinholt Sennert.Else went to school in Eichenbul, Germany, where many of her classmates and friends will gather to celebrate her life.In 1959 she met Charles Blount, USAF (Ret), whom she married and followed to the states to live her American dream. That dream included starting and running a business caring for the elderly for 30 years.Else is survived by her longtime companion, Roger Anderson; her four daughters, Maria Parks (Jeff R.), Reinhilde Sandoval, Suzanne Blount (Jeff B.) of Tacoma, and Elsie Bleifuss (Axel) of Altenbuch, Germany; grandchildren, Daniel, Sabrina, Jennifer, Stefanie, Christopher, Matthew of Tacoma, and Tobias and Alicia of Altenbuch, Germany; two great grandchildren, Jayden Lee and Shannon Marie (due April.) Their Oma will be deeply missed.A celebration of Else BlountÂ's life will be held at 1:30 PM, Monday, March 31, 2003, at Calvary Cemetery & Mausoleum, 5212 70th Street West, Tacoma.
