Eloise C. Harned's Obituary
Age 91, of Tacoma, passed away peacefully from our hands into the arms of God Saturday, October 8, 2017. She was born April 23, 1926 in Unamis, PA to Bruce and Esther (Cramer) Bowser. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 66 years, John; sisters Lydia Marie Swayne and Thelma Richter, brother George Bowser, and by her cherished daughter-in-law Autumn. She leaves a son, Max Harned and wife Margi, Maple Valley, and daughter Pamela Boehm and husband William, Chehalis: grandchildren Kristin O'Sullivan and husband Thad, Spokane, Adam Boehm and wife Erica, Chehalis, Aaron Harned and wife E'Shaina, Oklahoma City, OK, and Alisha Harned, Maple Valley; her beloved twin sister Elaine Koontz, Confluence, PA and brother-in-law Joe Harned, Puyallup; and great-grandchildren Kellen, Adelyn, Kasen, Jensen, and Halie.
Lois was a founding member of Christ Lutheran Church, Lakewood, where she played the organ for many years. She loved gardening and was a member of the Lakewood Garden Club.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the Weatherly Inn, Tacoma. for their excellent loving care, Franciscan Hospice, and heart-felt appreciation to Dr. Eller Manlapaz, ICU nurses, and support staff at Tacoma General for their compassion and comfort.
A private family service will be held.
We remember Mom for her tenacious spirit, strong will, generosity, kindness, and hard work throughout her life... "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever" ...miss you Mom
