Martha Eloise Escalante
Eloise, age 92, passed away on June 9, 2017 after a long illness. She was born in Iowa and married Frank, her husband of 53 years, at the age of 23 after only two weeks of dating. As a military family, they traveled often, residing in at least 8 states and spending 3 years in Spain. They settled in Lakewood where she was a resident for more than 40 years.
Eloise was a homemaker who enjoyed her large family. She had endless patience, a fantastic wit and brought warmth and love to those around her.
She is survived by her children, Frank, Linda, Teresa, Andy, Sandy and Rick; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank and her daughter Rita.
The family will hold a private inurnment at Mountain View Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Lakewood, Washington.
