ELMER HART
Beloved Father
1920 - 2018
Elmer Ronald Hart was born in Tacoma, WA to Howard and Bessie Hart on April 13, 1920 and passed away on February 17, 2018 at the age of 97. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Hart. They met at Lincoln High School in Tacoma and were married for 67 years. Elmer’s life revolved around his family, his friends and his church. He was an active member of Lincoln Park Christian Church and Fellowship Christian Church. He was also a life time member of Tacoma Masons. He served in the Navy during World War II and became a sheet metal worker in Local 150 after his discharge from the service. He retired from National Blower & Sheet Metal in 1982 and is recognized for his 75 years of membership in the Sheet Metal Workers International Association. He has two children – Ron Hart (Mike) of Chelan, WA and Karen Bowen (Dave) of Auburn, WA. The family would like to thank the staff at Gibson Gardens where he resided for the last six years. Funeral services will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home (Garden Chapel) 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW Lakewood, WA on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11:30 PM.
