Elmer V. Boyd's Obituary
Elmer Vincent Boyd, 92, of Tacoma went to be with his Savior on July 23, 2014. Born July 25, 1921 in Narberth, PA, Elmer was a retired US Postal worker, WWII Navy veteran, and served as the custodian for his church with his wife for over 20 years. Elmer is survived by his wife of over 67 years, Pauline Boyd. He is also survived by his sons, David and Jonathan Boyd; daughters, Suzanne Cox and Nannette Johnson; grandchildren, Seth and Ian Boyd, Jacalyn Archer, Joshua and Hannah Johnson and three great- grandchildren.
Elmer was a hardworking man who enjoyed gardening, camping, traveling, spending time with his family, church related activities, fixing things around the house, and his involvement in church dramas and painting scenery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent to the Westminster Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund. Remembrances may be shared at www.mountainviewtacoma.com
