Elma Namma's Obituary
Mrs. Elma Namma, beloved wife and kind, caring mother, went to be with Jesus on April 8, 2004. Born on July 28, 1925 in Burley, Idaho, she spent most of her life in Tacoma. She and her husband Ron have been married 26 years. ElmaÂ's profession was that of a registered nurse and the qualities of giving and caring permeated every aspect of her life and the many people she touched. Elma made family a big priority and always welcomed friends and patients instantly as part of her own family. Loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend, she will truly be missed by all who knew her. Elma is survived by her loving husband Ron of Tacoma; son Rick (Traci) Heinz of Renton; son-in-law Ray McAlister of Hood River, OR; two grandchildren Ryan (Lisa) McAlister of Lynnwood, and Sarah (Brian) Kainu of Portland, OR; two great-grandchildren, Grace McAlister and Madison Kainu, as well as numerous loving relatives. Elma was preceded in death by her daughter Kathy McAlister. A Celebration of ElmaÂ's life will be held at 2pm on Monday, April 12 at Mountain View Celebration of Life Center, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Tacoma, 253-584-0252.
