My wife and I have fond memories of Pete Harris especially the night he sang “Danny Boy†at our wedding in 1971. I have always admired his military courage and his everyday humor. He will be missed. Larry and Carol Mahoney##imported-begin##Larry & Carol Mahoney##imported-end##
Pete was my cousin and I was saddened to see his obituary in the Mitchell SD newspaper. For the last several years I had lost track of where Pete was living. He sang in our 1985 Wedding and he sang "Danny Boy" and the attendees just loved it. Pete was at our wedding with his mother. I will always remember Pete and his great sence of humor and always making people laugh. My only regret is that we did not keep in touch through the years. Our deepest condolances go out to his wife, children, grandchildren and his sisters Colleen and Francis. We all lost a very loving and special person, and we will always remember him.
