Ellen Marie Ellis' Obituary
Ellen Marie Ellis, born December 31st, 1923 in Gatlinburg, TN, passed away at her home at the age of 84 on May 26th, 2008, in Lakewood, WA. Marie grew up in Hoquiam, WA, the eldest of 10 children. She later met and married the love of her life, Charles Raymond Ellis, on October 23rd, 1948. They were married for 32 years until Chuck's death in 1980. Marie worked in the family business for 6 years and was a loving and devoted mother in every way. Marie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since 1988, and also the Eastern Star in her earlier years. Marie is survived by her son, Greg Ellis (Melinda), her one and only grandson Gary, 1 brother, 1 sister, several nieces and nephews, and her dear friends Phyllis and Rosemarie. Public visitation will be Sat., May 31st, 2008 from 8 until 12 noon at Mountain View Funeral Home. Private family cryptside services are later planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie's name to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or a charity of your choice.
