We enjoyed our walks and visits with you at Lakewood Mall. Ellen was a lovely person. We are very grateful she was able to find the music to "Holy, Holy Is What The Angels Sing". This was the hymn our son sang at Vern's Memorial on 3-18-05. May God comfort you and your family.##imported-begin##Priscilla Leach##imported-end##
I'll always remember Ellen as a sweet and loving woman. We enjoyed many happy times together long ago when we both attended the Lakewood Christian Women's Club luncheons. May God comfort and hold you tightly in this time of loss. Sue Ellen Foss##imported-begin##Sue Ellen Foss##imported-end##

I was so sad to read of Ellen's passing. Lewis & Ellen both are two very dear people to my heart. All the way back to when I was just a little girl at Central Baptist, to when I directed the choir that Ellen was a part of. She was always so helpful and would make me laugh! I pray for God's peace & comfort for Lewis & family. Like Lewis has sung so many times before, "We're Nearing the Shore!" Truly, one day we'll be joining her on that beautiful shore.
Lovingly,
Don, Denise, Josh & Jonny Keenan##imported-begin##Denise Keenan##imported-end##

I've known Ellen and Lewis for 15 years. They were faithful members of the choir and were Sunday School greeters at Central Baptist in Tacoma.
Ellen prided herself on remembering people's names. I remember being impressed by her remembering mine!
Ellen was a real prayer warrior. I am sure that although she couldn't move physically these past few years that she still served the Lord thru prayers. I am confident that many of her last prayers were answered.
To the family I send a word of encouragement: that someday soon we will all be with Ellen in glory, and will all sing in a choir together again.
May the Lord comfort you, dear Lewis.
