Ella Lee Roberts' Obituary
Ella Lee Roberts was born Jan. 6, 1918 in Boswell, Oklahoma and passed away on March 7, 2005 in Tacoma, WA. She was a member of Manitou Presbyterian Church, where she enjoyed WomenÂ's Group and quilting. She was a first class professional homemaker.She was preceded in death by her son James O. Roberts and her beloved husband of more than 50 years, Joseph O. Roberts. She is also preceded in death by her sister Beatrice Elms and her brothers; Robert Â"RuleÂ" Hanvey, Cecil Â"OzzieÂ" Hanvey, and Harold V. Hanvey.She is survived by her son, Floyd E. Nelson and her daughter JoElla Cudney (Ed). She leaves behind a lot of joy with her 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.A celebration of her life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, March 12th at Manitou Presbyterian Church, 6613 S. Cheyenne, Tacoma 98409.The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations in memory of Ella Lee be sent to Manitou Presbyterian Church.
