Elizabeth W. Ramento's Obituary
Elizabeth W. Ramento was born on June 27, 1938 in Paia, Hawaii. She was called home to the Lord after a 3 year courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at Madigan Army Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones. Known to all who loved her as Liz and to many as Â"Aunty LizÂ", she is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 49 years Al, children; Alfred (Susan) Ramento, Blanch (Ken) Fernandez, Laura (Dean) Desantos, Nathan Ramento, grandkids; Jantzen, Brandon, Carmen, Kimo, Natalie, Shani and great-grandchildren; Nathan and Breanna. Liz also leaves behind her mother, Dionisia Guillermo (Kaneohe, HI), sisters; Felisa Taiping (Tacoma, WA), Sophie Nakamura (Kaneohe. HI), Millie Conrardy (Spanaway, WA) and brothers; Fortunato Barques and Joseph Guillermo both of Kaneohe, HI. Liz retired from McChord AFB as an operation clerk of 20 years. She loved outdoor activities, camping, clamming, potlucks with family and friends, cooking, dancing, singing, traveling but first and foremost, Liz loved her family. There is nothing she wouldnÂ't do for them. Honey, mom, Grandma, Great-grandma, you may be gone, but youÂ'll never be forgotten!The family would like to thank the Oncology and Radiation Therapy Clinics and 6th Floor South Nurses at Madigan Army Medical Center.In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the American Cancer Society.Visitation to be held from 9 AM to 11 AM, Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Mountain View Funeral Home. Memorial service to follow at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 9, 2005 in the Mountain View Valley Chapel with reception immediately following in the Willow Room at Mountain View Celebration of Life Center.Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252.
