Elizabeth Lillian Vincent's Obituary
Elizabeth Lillian Muriel Vincent, 92, died on May 9, 2015. She was born April 29, 1923, in Tacoma, WA to Harold and Bess Scholle.
Betty, a graduate of Lincoln High and Tacoma General Hospital School of Nursing, worked as an RN at Tacoma General Hosptal and for Dr. Havlina. She married Daryl D. Vincent of Pullman, WA on March 28, 1945 in Tacoma. Betty loved her family and will be greatly missed after dedicating her live to her husband and raising 3 children. She lived in Fircrest for 40 years and Gig Harbor for 25 years. She maintained close friendships with her TG graduating nursing class her entire lifetime.
Betty and Daryl were involved with traveling, gardening, playing bridge, and she volunteered at Gig Harbor FISH Food Bank for many years.
Daryl predeceased her after 50 years of marriage.
Betty is survived by 3 children Diane L Hallawell of Gig Harbor, Keith D Vincent of Port Orchard, and Marcia E Griffo of Montclair, VA. She has eight grandchildren Angela Brotherton, Jennifer Brenner, Craig Vincent, Haley Vincent, Jason Griffo, Rachel Griffo, Amy Samudre, and Nathan Griffo and 3 great grandchildren Kaliqx Vincent, and Hazel and Henry Brotherton.
Memorial service will be 12 noon Sat June 6, Garden Chapel, Mt View Funeral Home in Lakewood, WA.
