Elizabeth Sivertson's Obituary
Elizabeth was born and lived her whole life in Tacoma. She graduated from Lincoln High School and worked at Fort Lewis. She was known for her exceptional ability of taking dictation in shorthand, because of this outstanding ability she became secretary to the General at Fort Lewis. Later she was asked to take the dictation for and transcribe the parole hearings at Mc Neil Island. She later taught Shorthand at Clover Park Technical College. She Â"retiredÂ" in 1964 but continued working doing the things she loved. Elizabeth loved flowers, her yard & bingo, she always had a crochet project going and was an active member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic church. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Arnold, son Robert and sister Laura Green. Survivors include daughter Sandra and son-in-law Bill Farrell, grandchildren: Christopher Irmie (Jenny), Jennifer Allee (Lee), Cheryl Ganje (Patrick), and Billy Farrell (Louie); and great-grandchildren: Jesica, Lukus, Connor, Corbin, Charlene, Robert, and Judith; her special young friends Max & Logan, and all her special friends and neighbors.Funeral services will be held in the Mountain View Garden Chapel.
