Elizabeth Claire Robertson's Obituary
Elizabeth Claire Robertson was born on January 15, 1931, to Edward E. Rudd and Agnes Rigney-Rudd, at St. Joseph’s hospital in Tacoma, Washington. She attended Visitation grade school and graduated from St. Leo’s high school, class of 1948, and remained very active with her class reunions. Claire was a bookkeeper throughout her entire career, working for various organizations. Claire was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, her sisters Pat Wedrosky and Rita Cleary, and her son Daniel.
Claire is survived by her four children, Catherine Hennefer (Steve), Christine Young (Calvin), Martin Robertson (Kathy) and Eileen Johnston, as well as her nine grandchildren, Paul Hennefer, Kim Hennefer-Mason (Josh), Danielle McGuire, Josh & Jeremy Young, Kari & Scott Robertson, Alex & Rex Johnston; five great-grandchildren, Olivia & Spencer McGuire, Mckayla, Taylor & Catie Mason; and her sister Adele Hansen.
Claire requests that any donations in her name be made to Visitation Catholic Academy.
Services for Claire will be held at 2:00/PM on Friday December 18, 2015 at the Mountain View Funeral Home Garden Chapel, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood WA 98499. Friends and family are kindly invited. Interment services are private.
