Elizabeth McIntosh's Obituary
Our beloved Elizabeth passed on to be with Our Lord, November 8, 2005. She was born on a homestead outside of Seneca, Nebraska on July 9, 1913. Before marriage she was a teacher in the Sandhills of Nebraska and moved to Tacoma in 1946 with her 3 young children. Elizabeth loved the Lord and lived by her faith. She was called Grandma Mac by many and known locally for all her baked goods (especially the potato donuts and oatmeal cake). We will miss her jokes and tales she spun, not to mention all the history from her early days.Preceded in death by mother and father (Clarence and Mary McKinley), sister Mary Jane McIntosh, sons Leroy, Clarence, Harold and Rev. Byron Traveis (son-in-law), and granddaughter Pamela Richardson.Survived by son Marvin (Jenni), daughters Twyla, Nancy and Rosie, sisters Grace (Henry) and Jean, brother Clarence (Arlene), grandchildren Marvin, Brian, Darren, Kevin, Angie, Geri, Rick, Lana, Debbie, Jake, Stephen, Maureen, Rachel, Leah, David and Lydia; great-grandchildren Nicky, Shelly, Aaron, Bailey, Renee, Rachel, Patrick, Jamie, Jessica, Jenna, Adam, Megan and Chad; and great-great-granddaughter Amile.Thank you to all who loved Grandma Mac.Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at Parkway Presbyterian Church, 714 East 138th Street, Tacoma, Washington 98445. Donations may be given to Parkway Presbyterian Church.
