Elizabeth Jean Jackson's Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Jackson was born June 19, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, to Hizzie Redmond and Beatrice Howard. Elizabeth graduated from Hyde Park High School in 1975 at the age of 16. She continued her education at Minnesota’s School of Business. Elizabeth worked as an aide for a nursing home facility until she became a social worker for Hennepin County.
Elizabeth was an incredible, vibrant, and nurturing person. Her dedication
to her family is truly inspiring. She was strong, persistent, and worked
hard to provide for her family. Elizabeth enjoyed life and thrived from
watching her children and their children grow. She was a God-fearing
woman and a praying warrior. She loved nature, movies, music, shopping,
cooking, decorating, animals, and playing solitary.
Elizabeth was called home on May 29, 2025. She is preceded in death by
her parents, her son Chance Avalon Brown, and her brothers Anthony,
Harold, and Willie.
She is survived by her husband Raymond Jackson, her sisters Cloytee,
Martha, Beatrice, and Angelina, her Brother Chuck, her children
Constance, Donnella, Willie, Jamonia, and Jennifer, her son-in-laws
Terrence, and Terry, her daughter-in-law Monique, her grandchildren:
Konleonya, Geonte, Kharisha, Marquissa, Chance, Kemohjanah, Sarontre,
Amir, Jaquinae, Laquin Jr, Terry Jr, Kaleb, Elizabeth, Anthony, Shalynn,
Journee, Clarice, Willie, Harmoni, Curtis, Jaron, Hope, Dominique, Avalon,
Jayveon, Heaven, and Baby Tiffany, and her great-grandchildren: Jakari,
Karleonya, Artisté, Ryiah, Khailia.
