Elizabeth Ellen Farrell's Obituary
Â"BessieÂ" died on Monday at Orchard Park Convalescent Center after a long courageous battle with AlzheimerÂ's disease. She had been a resident of University Place for twenty years.She is preceded in death by her husband Richard F. Farrell, parents Thomas and Jane Lyon; sister Ada Murphy; grandson Freddie Farrell. Survivors include loving son William Â"BillÂ" and daughter-in-law Sandra; and brother John Lyon (June); grandchildren Billy (Louie), Cheryl (Patrick), Jennifer (Lee) and Chris (Jenny) and seven great grandchildren, Charlene, Robert, Judith, Jesica, Lukus, Conner and Corbin, as well as many, many family members and friends.Bessie was a member and past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star. She loved to clam and fish with her husband Fred. Bessie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and a true friend to many. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services were held 2:00 pm, Friday, Apr. 15th, at the Mountain View Funeral Home Garden Chapel.
