Elenora D Swift's Obituary
Elenora Delnora Swift was a beautiful and loving mother. She was born March 4, 1933. Her mother’s name is Ophelia Miller and her father’s name is William Butler, Sr. She leaves behind seven brothers by the name of Issac, Leon, Eugene, Roy, William Butler from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Tommy Butler from Flint Michigan, and deceased brother, Samuel Butler from Sacramento California. Four sisters by the name of Willie-Mae Laws from Altheimer Arkansas, Idella Atkins, Shirley Hooper from Tacoma, Washington, and deceased sister, Ida B Hardiman from Tacoma, Washington. Elenora was originally born in Bakersfield, California and relocated to Tacoma. The occupation she held was a homemaker. When she relocated to Tacoma, she then met the love of her life, Lionel Swift, Sr. who passed away on May 5, 2019. Two soulmates destined to be together had a long lasting marriage of 64 years. She became a strong willed, stay at home mother and gave birth to 7 beautiful kids. Denise Swift-Wimbish, Lionel Swift, Jr., Deseriee Jackson, Laney Swift, Robert Swift, Barbara Swift, and Cynthia Swift-Palmer. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, 33 grandkids, and 50 great grandchildren. Elenora passed away at the age of 87. She was loving, and caring in all aspects of her life unto others. She had a big heart who opened her home to others in any time of need and when you needed her she was there. She took in kids from the neighborhood and was loved by everyone who she crossed paths with. Courageous and wise bursting with love and happiness, smile so bright and full. Celebrating the life she lived and leaves behind we cherish the memories of her forever. Elenora’s spirit is everlasting and will continue on to the gates of heaven she will be remembered and never forgotten!
