Eleanor Ripley's Obituary
Eleanor Ripley, age 86, went to heaven on Sept. 29th, 2012 in Puyallup, WA. She was born in Tacoma and lived there most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Paul, and her oldest son, Fred. She worked for the Bon Marche for many years and was a dedicated mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. Her passion in life was her family. She made holidays especially wonderful for her family and was famous for her pies and fabulous spaghetti sauce. Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Pam Cavenee (Gerry) of Edgewood, son Jerry Ripley(Laurie) of Tacoma, daughter-in-law Mary Ripley of Graham, sisters Maryann Girard, Shirley Septon, Pat Levine and brothers Ed, John and Ray McCarthy. She is also survived by adoring grandchildren Paul A., Paul R., Kristen, James, Brian, Mary, Ehren, Heather and Aimee along with 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at the Garden Chapel and Mt. View Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 5th at 11:00 am.
