Eleanor Jean Rademacher's Obituary
Eleanor Jean Rademacher, loving wife, mother and sister, peacefully passed away on 2/2/15 in Des Moines, WA. Born in Seattle on 6/2/1927 to Zelpha and Oliver Crawford, she grew up in the Sumner area before graduating from Gallatin High School in Bozeman, MT in 1944. While attending Gallatin, she played violin with the college orchestra. Upon graduating, she moved back to Seattle and studied music at the UW. It was at the UW where she met Robert Rademacher, her loving husband of 57 years. They married in 1955 and started a family in the Seattle-Tacoma area, later moving to Federal Way and Renton. She was a very loving wife and mother, enjoyed homemaking including sewing, cooking, gardening and participating in the PTA. After the children were grown, she went back to work as a Bookkeeper for Johnson Wholesale Plumbing, later becoming a Key Punch Operator for First Interstate Bank.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband in 2012 and her sister Helen. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her three children, daughter Susan; son Robert (Patrice), son David (Erin), four grandchildren (Evan, Eric, Amy and Kayla), nephews (Lewis, Tom, Tim) and sister-in-law (Elaine). Funeral service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA, Saturday, 2/7/15 (viewing 10-11:00 am) with chapel service at 11:00pm.
