Eldora Coovert's Obituary
Eldora Coovert, born October 10, 1919 in Mt. Vernon, WA, passed away on October 5, 2003 in Gig Harbor, WA. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and the number one fan for the sports teams her son and grandsons played on and coached.During her lifetime, Eldora was active in orthopedic guild and as an officer for Lowell Elementary and Mason Junior High PTA. She loved cooking, gardening, singing, the organ and her beloved view of Mt. Rainier.She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Fern County; her husband, Russ; and her son, Don. She is survived by her son, Rick (Wendy) Coovert of Lakebay; sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Curt Heinz of Tacoma; grandsons, Don of Sumner, Chris (Kristin) of Fircrest, and Craig (Katrina) of Tacoma; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, October 11, 2003 at Mt. View Memorial Park. Remembrances may be made in EldoraÂ's name to the American Cancer Society.
