Elaine L. Rossman's Obituary
Elaine was born in Chamberlain, South Dakota, August 7, 1920 to George and Eva Yeaton. During her illness she was surrounded by family and special friends. She passed away peacefully at home January 21.Elaine and LeRoy (Bud) Rossman were married in Chamberlain, South Dakota, in 1939, moved to Washington and settled in Lakewood in 1960.Elaine was preceded in death by her husband in 1969, 5 sisters, 2 brothers and her parents. Survivors include five children: Duane (Nancy), Yakima; Bill (Luana), Tacoma; Gary (Nancy), Scottsdale, AZ; Marianne Sass (Paul), Lakewood; and Dean (Laurie), Fircrest. She is also survived by sisters Evelyn, Viola, and Patty (Mike), and sisters-in-law Mae and Dolores Yeaton. Grandchildren are: Jeff (Angelique), Kate and Annie Rossman; Jessica and Jonathan Rossman; Amy, Katie, and Michael Welch; Robin Berry, Angela, Kevin, and Kelly Sass; Glenn, Eric, and Blake Rossman; great grandchildren are Max and Avery Kathleen Rossman.Services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2004 at Visitation Catholic Church, 3314 S. 58 St., Tacoma, WA 98409. Recitation of the rosary will be at 10:30am followed by a funeral mass at 11am. There will be a reception immediately following at the church. A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm at Mountain View Memorial Park.Memorials may be made to Franciscan Hospice of Tacoma.Elaine was devoted to her church and her family. She is cherished now and forever.
